New Year, New Clothes - Femme Luxe Review #2

Sponsored by Femme Luxe.

Eyyyy, happy belated new year!
It makes sense for me to say that now because the clothes I'm about to review have been lying around in my room for quite some weeks...
Yep, I'm way too busy all the time...

Anyways, it's my second Femme Luxe review. I got four dresses, tops etc. again and this time, most of them are clothes I wouldn't buy if I saw them on a shop LOL
Yep, I just tried something new and ironically, I'm not that disappointed. The one piece I thought I'd like the least is now the one I like the most. But I'll get to that below.

About shipping: It's the ususal. Took between one and two weeks and everything has been fine. If you need something quick, you shouldn't get your hopes up. It'll take a while until it arrives. But it doesn't take that long either.

1. Knitted Oversized Polo Neck Jumper

I'll start with the bad news right away: This one isn't available on Femme Luxe's shop anymore, at least not in this color. BUT! You can get in neon green right here! And let's be honest, neon green is way better anyway since it's a happier color during this long and cold winter.

The top itself is nice. I got this one because you basically can't have enough sweaters. Moreover, it's OVERSIZED. And I love my clothes oversized. The only negative thing I have to say is that it's a little short but that's a matter of taste I guess. Other than that it's extremely comfortable, so yeah, it's perfect for lazy winter days!

I still have to figure out if you can see though it or not. But for now, I think I'm going to wear a shirt beneath it, so I don't have to worry about that. Got mine in size S/M by the way.

You can buy it for £20.99 on their shop right here. If you're living in Germany or any other country with a never ending winter, go for it!

2. Black Knit Dress

And once again, it's not available anymore... However, you can get the exact same dress in a longer version (here) or in a shorter version (here). Mine is inbetween, but it really doesn't make much of a difference.

What can I say about this one? Seriously, I don't know how and when to wear it, haha. I mean yeah, it's kinda cool, no doubt about that, but is it a winter dress that should be combined with something else or a summer dress? Knitted clothes never made any sense to me for summer. Maybe I'm just a little narrow-minded here. I mean, I also don't eat ice cream during winter months because it seems weird to me...

But why did I get it in the first place? Guess I like the challenge to figure out what to do with it. The way I'm wearing it (with a grey dress) seems like a good solution to me for now. Still not sure yet though. Another thing I'm asking myself: What occasion is it good for? For partys probably, wouldn't wear it for work or something like that lol

You see, I still have A LOT of questions. Even though it's probably going to stay in my closet for quite some time, I hope to have the perfect idea what to do with it sooner or later. I mean, who knows? Maybe it's my top favorite piece next summer, or winter, or autumn... Still, I guess everyone has one or two things in their closet that a pretty cool but one just doesn't know when and how to wear it...

But let's talk about the dress itself: Can't complain, it's comfortable to wear. I'm not totally into the "one-shoulder-thingy" but I'll get used to it. There is also a belt which you can see in the photos too. It's just decoration though. You really don't need it since it's already pretty tight.

I got size S/M and the two versions (longer one, shorter one) cost £18.99 and £9.99. Quite a huge difference even though one of them is only a little longer, haha. But no matter which one you choose, it's worth it. You can find more mini dresses or midi dresses like this when you look through the categories on their website.

3. Black With White Stripe Off Shoulder Loungewear Set

Since I'm totally into sports, I really needed a cool sports outfit!

Alright, that's a lie. I'm totally not into sports, so I don't actually need something like that. But I got it for another reason: It's a perfect pyjama. And no, don't judge! Seriously, the elastic waist band (is that what it's called?) is even fake. You can't pull your pants tighter at all. So you see, I don't feel bad at all using it as nothing more than a pyjama because I've really been disappointed when I saw that.

If you want to buy those two pieces in order to get yourself a cool looking sporty outfit, you may think about it twice. It's comfortable, so that's a plus. But other than that it's not exactly great for training I guess. Or maybe you want it as a street outfit? Go for it! Me personally, I was in need of a new pyjama lol

It costs £16.99 and mine is size S/M. You can get it on their shop here.

4. Black Tie Front One Shoulder Jumpsuit - Heather

I wasn't sure about this jumpsuit at all. I basically added it to my cart, removed it, added it, removed it and so on. In the end, I got it, obviously. And I don't regret a single thing because it is my favorite piece out of all four! I was convinced it would look horrible on me but now I really like it for some reason. It's pretty cool, very light and the belt thingy is a wonderful little extra.

I think mine is size 6? The smallest one probably. However, the pants are still a little too big for me. The garment is very elastic though, so if you want to buy it, you should think about getting it in a smaller size.

Even though I'm not into "one-shoulder-tops", I really like this one. Hope I'm going to find an occasion to wear it during summer since, once again, it's an outfit for partys or other kinds of (not too) formal events. It costs £20.99 and you can find it on their shop here.

Altogether, I'm happy with what I got. The only slightly disappointing thing is the sports outfit but the rest is totally fine. Femme Luxes clothes aren't very expensive which is great. On the other hand, you have to keep in mind that the quality isn't exactly perfect, too.

Check out their shop here!
